FIVE THINGS

1. Tennent shot ridiculously well. The Panthers shot 56.7 percent (17 for 30) in the first half and 54.7 percent (29 for 53) overall.

2. Tennent (5-0) has excellent young talent. Sophomore forwards Sarah Godfrey and Hanna Sellers started, while freshman 6-foot guard Ashley Alden and freshman 5-10 forward Liz Koval came off the bench.

3. Can the Panthers contend in the SOL Continental? Friday's game vs. Norristown will tell a lot. Norristown barely got by Souderton by one point on Tuesday.

4. Senior Jenna Adams (14 points) played well for CR-South. The Golden Hawks (2-2) started sophomores Lea Britton (eight points) and Emily Nowicke (eight points).

5. Tennent had 23 points after seven minutes and 44 points in the first half.
